More than 1000 items from the personal collection of the late Jeremy Bulloch will go up for auction next month.
Among the more than 1,000 items on offer is a life size Boba Fett statue, estimated at between £8,000 and £12,000, that Bulloch modeled for in the 1990s and stored in his attic for almost 30 years.
There is also footage that appears to show test-filming of Ewoks, the furry creatures that help the rebels in Return of the Jedi, which is expected to fetch up to £5,000, and a replica Boba Fett helmet (estimate £600-£800) that Bulloch sometimes wore for interviews.
The auction follows Bulloch’s death in 2020 at the age of 75 from complications relating to Parkinson’s disease. Part of the proceeds from the auction will go to the charity Parkinson’s UK.
His widow, Maureen Bulloch, said that as well as collecting souvenirs from when the films were made in the early 1980s, her husband amassed memorabilia from fans when attending Star Wars conventions. “Jeremy loved and appreciated every single item,” she said.

Eternals and The Batman star Barry Keoghan was arrested in Dublin. Metro reports that the actor was picked up for public intoxication. Sources say that authorities responded to a noise complaint from a man who heard a ruckus outside of his window. Allegedly, Keoghan wasn't threatening, but merely having a little bit too much fun outside. Witnesses corroborate this story. Luckily for all parties involved, the incident has come to a close and been resolved. A 'fixed charge notice" means that the person in custody is released without any legal proceedings. So, we don't have an Ezra Miller situation in this case. There has been no statement from either Marvel Studios or DC Comics about this story. Here's what the Irish Police said to Metro about this situation.
"Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s for a public order incident that occurred in Clongriffin, at approximately 6:45am, Sunday 10th April 2022. He was later released without charge and issued with an FCN (fixed charge notice)."
Speaking of legal trouble, Ezra Miller has been arrested in Hawaii…again. This time for second degree assault. According to Variety quote Miller was arrested early Tuesday morning after an incident at a private residence in Pāhoa. Patrol officers responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a get-together in the Leilani Estates subdivision in lower Puna. According to the Hawaii Police Department, Miller allegedly became irate after being asked to leave and threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old woman on the forehead and resulting in an approximate half-inch cut. The woman refused treatment for the injury.
Police arrested Miller at 1:30 a.m. after the actor was located on the roadway during a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Kea‘au. Miller was released at 4:05 a.m. after conferring with the County Prosecutor’s Office, pending further investigation. The investigation remains active. IF you remember his first arrest was back on MArch 28th and according to the Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho, Miller had been the source of 10 police calls in Hilo since March 7. Warner Bros Discovery might want to A) get him out of Hawaii and B) get him into some sort of program or just cut ties with the actor altogether.
Marvel
The trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder came in strong with over 209 million views in the first 24 hours. Director Taika Watiti has been playing coy about the movies for months admitting quote "Well, just between [me and] you and the readers, I've done some crazy sh*t in my life. I've lived, like, ten lifetimes. But it's the craziest film I've ever done," Waititi admitted. "If you wrote down all the elements of this film, it shouldn't make sense," he added, "It's almost like it shouldn't be made. If you walked into a room and said, 'I want this and this and this.' Who's in it? These people. What are you going to call it? Love And Thunder. I mean, you'd never work again. Maybe I won't after this."
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has officially been delayed by several months. On Wednesday, Sony announced that the upcoming film, which will be the sequel to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, has moved from October 7, 2022 to June 2, 2023. Sony has also revealed that the film has dropped "Part One" from its initial title, but that it will still remain the first part of a two-movie saga. Across the Spider-Verse Part II also got an official release date, in the form of March 29, 2024.

Procter and Gamble is teaming up with MArvel to sell Tide with the help of Doctor Strange. In a new commercial that launches today, Procter & Gamble’s Tide helps save the day when Wong, Doctor Strange’s longtime colleague, finds himself having to clean up an independently-minded Cloak of Levitation, which is smudged and befouled by pizza flour and pieces of tuna melt. The ad, which will appear on various social networks and TV, is a deliberate effort to promote the May 6 opening of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” the latest film from Disney’s Marvel Studios, but that doesn’t mean it can’t put a spotlight on a well-known laundry detergent as well. Marvel fans “aren’t just big, but they are so engaged. It really allows us to get into this new space,” says Alex Perez, senior brand director of Procter & Gamble’s laundry products for North America, in an interview. “We think we will reach people who have seen us before, but not in a way that has been that interesting for them.”

Netflix is feeling the pinch. THe streaming service reported last week that they had lost around 200,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter compared to the previous year. IN a letter to shareholders they revealed that they believed password sharing was one of the major catalysts in their decline in subscriptions. Now, it seems that the Streaming Service also wants to explore the idea of a new, less expensive plan that will feature ads. During the company's quarterly earnings call, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, revealed the idea.
"Those who have followed Netflix know that I have been against the complexity of advertising, and a big fan of the simplicity of subscription," Hastings revealed. "But as much as I am a fan of that, I am a bigger fan of consumer choice. And allowing consumers who would like to have a lower price, and are advertising-tolerant get what they want, makes a lot of sense. It is pretty clear that it is working for Hulu. Disney is doing it, HBO did it. We don't have any doubt that it works," unquote . They also will apparently be cracking down on password sharers. Ayqiugn quote "This is a big opportunity as these households are already watching Netflix and enjoying our service," the streamer wrote in its letter. "Sharing likely helped fuel our growth by getting more people using and enjoying Netflix. And we've always tried to make sharing within a member's household easy, with features like profiles and multiple streams. While these have been very popular, they've created confusion about when and how Netflix can be shared with other households."
Andy Serkis’ Imaginarium and Aniventure are teaming up with Netflix to adapt George Orwell’s Animal Farm for Netflix. Actor and director Serkis told The Hollywood Reporter back in 2012 that he intended to helm Animal Farm, and in 2018, Netflix picked up the long-gestating project. The film will involve performance-capture-based CG characters. Serkis in a statement said quote “The challenging journey to bring this extraordinary story to the screen has been finally rewarded by the opportunity to partner with the brilliant team at Aniventure and Cinesite,” said Serkis in a statement. “Together we hope to make our version of Orwell’s ever relevant masterpiece, emotionally powerful, humorous, and relatable for all ages. A tale not only for our times, but for generations to come.“
Jason Mamoa is set to star in a Minecraft movie for Warner Bros. THe Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Napoleon Dynamite filmmaker Jared Hess will direct the project based on the popular video game.
Dune producer Mary Parent and Roy Lee will produce, with Jill Messick receiving a posthumous producing credit for developing the film before her death in 2018. Executive producers include Jon Berg, Cale Boyter and Jon Spaihts. The video game hails from Sweden’s Mojang Studios, with Mojang’s Lydia Winters and Vu Bui also producing the film.
Rio Del Valle Hackford has passed away, the actor and club owner is best known for roles in THe Mandalorian and American Crime Story. Rio Hackford, who was the son of director Taylor Hackford, was remembered by friends for being a “connector of all sorts of people,” Hackford was known for his joie de vivre and generous embrace of artists at his clubs including Matador and One-Eyed Jacks in New Orleans, where he also owned Pal’s Lounge. One-Eyed Jacks was a popular venue for alternative acts, and reopened in a new location after closing during the pandemic.
In San Francisco, he owned Homestead, and in Los Angeles he renovated the Monty bar just west of downtown.
“He was a great magnet to creative people, with a Zelig-like path that could make a page-turner of a biography. He loved the alchemy of personalities and talents, and was one of the great facilitators in this respect,” DeVincentis continued.
In “The Mandalorian,” he was the on-set performer of the droid IG-11, who was voiced by Taika Waititi.
Most recently, he played a manager in “Pam & Tommy.”
Hackford had small appearances in movies like playing a junkie in “Pretty Woman” and a bartender in “Strange Days” before appearing as Skully in “Swingers.” The Skully character, who has a beef with Sue, was known as “House of Pain” or “Hip Hop” in the ’90s indie favorite.
In supernatural Western “Jonah Hex,” he played Graydon Nash, and in New Orleans-set “Treme,” he was Toby in several episodes.
He also directed music videos for acts including Josh Homme’s Desert Sessions and Corrosion of Conformity.
He is survived by his wife, musician Libby Grace; two children; brother Alex; his father; and stepmother Helen Mirren.
His brother Alex Hackford said he died after an illness. He was 52 years old.
Actress Liz Sheridan has passed away. The actress was best known for playing Jerry Seinfeld’s mother on Seinfeld and as Mrs. Ochmonek on ALF. Sheridan was born on April tenth, 1929 and began her professional career as a nightclub dancer and singer in the 1950’s and spent much of her early career working in the Caribbean. IN the late 60’s she returned to New York and worked in plays and musicals on Broadway before eventually going to Hollywood.
Working in Hollywood, she came to prominence in supporting roles in over a dozen feature films and 60 prime time network television movies, mini-series, and series including Kojak,[2] Archie Bunker's Place, St. Elsewhere, Newhart, Moonlighting, The A-Team, Who's the Boss, Hill St. Blues, Cagney & Lacey, Family Ties, Murder, She Wrote,Sliders and Double Rush.[7] Her first major role was playing the nosy neighbor Raquel Ochmonek on the NBC TV series ALF, from 1986 to 1990. Following that she secured her most renowned and long-lived role, as Jerry's mother, Helen, on Seinfeld. She appeared in all nine seasons, from 1990 to 1998, the only actor to do so apart from the four leads. Liz Sheridan was married in 1985 and he preceded her in death, She is survived by her daughter. Liz Sheridan passed away from natural causes in her sleep on April fifteenth, she was 93.
And finally, Actor and comedian Gilbert Gottfried passed away after a long long battle with myotonic dystrophy type 2, a form of muscular dystrophy.
Gottfried was known for his crude humor, political incorrectness and shrill voice, which helped give life to a number of animated characters, such as Iago the parrot in Disney’s “Aladdin,” the robotic bird Digit in PBS Kids’ “Cyberchase” and the Aflac duck in commercials for the insurance company.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Feb. 28, 1955, and started performing stand-up comedy at just 15. Gottfried had a short, 12-episode stint on “Saturday Night Live” during Season 6 in 1980, and he reunited with his “SNL” colleague Eddie Murphy on “Beverly Hills Cop II,” one of his first major film roles. Howard Stern frequently invited Gottfried on his radio show in the ’80s, where he impersonated people like Andrew “Dice” Clay, Groucho Marx and Bela Lugosi as Dracula.
By the ’90s, Gottfried landed roles in films like the “Problem Child” movies, “Highway to Hell” and “Looks Who’s Talking Too,” before landing his most recognizable voice role as Iago the parrot in 1992’s “Aladdin.” Iago was the annoying but funny comic relief who accompanied the villain Jafar, and Gottfried reprised the role in two direct-to-video sequels, a TV series and the “Kingdom Hearts” video games.
His other major voice roles included Kraang Subprime in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” Mr. Mxyzptlk in “Superman: The Animated Series,” Dr. Bender and his son Wendell in “The Fairly OddParents,” plus “SpongeBob Squarepants,” “The Ren & Stimpy Show,” “Duckman,” “Disney’s House of Mouse” and countless more.
In the 2000s and 2010s, Gottfried became a regular on celebrity roasts and game shows. He appeared in Comedy Central roasts of Bob Saget, Joan Rivers, David Hasselhoff, Donald Trump and Roseanne Barr, plus game shows like “Hollywood Squares” and “Pyramid.”
His edgy and crude humor, however, got him into trouble on several occasions. Three weeks after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Gottfried joked that he couldn’t catch a direct flight from New York to California because “they said they have to stop at the Empire State Building first.” The crowd gasped and decried “too soon,” but Gottfried was able to win the audience over and quickly made headlines by telling one of the first 9/11 jokes.
Live at the 1991 Emmy Awards, Gottfried made several masturbation jokes about Paul Reubens’ recent arrest for masturbating in an adult movie theater, which resulted in Gottfried being blacklisted by producers. The comedian also lost his job of voicing the Aflac duck after tweeting jokes about the 2011 Tohoku Japanese earthquake disaster, which was the fourth most powerful earthquake to ever hit Japan.
Gottfried is survived by his wife, Dara Kravitz, and two children, Lily and Max.
Gilbert Gottfried passed away at the age of 67 years old.
