Star Wars Trilogy Rumors And IMAX

SPEAKER_00

Anyway, let's go on to the Star Wars news. Roger, Roger. After eight years and countless entries in the expanding on-screen universe, Star Wars is revisiting the Skywalker Saga with its next project. Deadline can confirm that Lucasfilm has tapped skeleton crew co-creator John Watts to helm the first installment in a new trilogy of the Star Skywalker Saga, which is being penned by Simon Kinberg. Now, Kinberg, previously co-created the Disney XD animated series Star Wars Rebels, has been working on a new trilogy since 2018, with Daisy Ridley reportedly eyed to reprise her role as Rey, as it will serve as the next chapter of the Skywalker saga. Star Wars Starfighter and Star Wars 50th Anniversary Edition are to be released in IMAX 70mm. The project reportedly has not been given an official green light from Disney, beginning with Star Wars Episode 4, A New Hope 1977, and the sequels, episode 5, The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, and Empire VI, Return of the Jedi in 1983, the Skywalker Saga continued with the Prequel Trilogy, Episode 1, The Batman in 99, episode 2, Attack of the Clone in 2002, and episode 3, Revenge of the Sith in 2005. Most recently, the franchise left off the Skywalker Saga with the List trilogy, episodes 7, 8, and 9, which came out in 2015, 2017, and 2019, which led to Ridley's Ray. Since the last chapter in the Skywalker Skywalker Saga, the Star Wars franchise has expanded with films and streaming series through set throughout the on-screen universe. With the next installment being Star Wars Starfighter, set for a May 28th, 2027 release. So uh then the and again that 50th anniversary is next year, so why not release them, you know? Uh you know, make them big, put them in IMAX. I don't know. Something like that. Anyway,

Spider Man Re Release And Clone Saga

let's go on to the Marvel news. Marvel News begins with reports that Spider-Man Brand New Day, the top-earning domestic release in history, and the third highest-grossing film globally is set for a theatrical re-release. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretin and starring Tom Holland, the upcoming cut will reportedly feature additional footage. Now, industry insiders indicate this bonus content includes scenes with Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple, and Lurse, known for assisting vigilanges across the Marvel Universe, like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fest, Luke Cage, and The Defenders. While Dawson previously disclosed that her cameo was deleted from the initial theatrical release, further unannounced surprises are also expected in this expanded edition. This planned return, follows Disney's recent financial success with Avengers Endgame and Encore, the Rooster Brothers reissued Blockbuster generated A6 million worldwide, 26 million domestically, over the weekend, pushing its cumulative box office to 2.885 billion, second only to Avatar's 2.92 billion lifetime record. Prime Video is near a series is near a series order for a new series set on set in the Sony Pictures universe of Marvel characters, according to sources for deadline.com. The Prospective project draws inspiration from Marvel Comics' popular clone saga, focusing specifically on the second arc centered around Spider-Man, clones Ben Riley and Kane Parker. Penned by Kelvin Yu. The project will follow Spider-Noir, which Prime Video recently canceled after its single season. That show starred Ben Nicholas Cage's Ben Riley as a titular character, a departure from the comics where Spider-Man's Noir's older ego is Peter Parker, adapted due to Wright's carve-outs. Though details on the upcoming adaption remain sparse, the comic book lore introduces Ben Riley as a stable, successful clone of Peter Parker, who adopts the spider hero moniker, Scarlet Spider. His name combines Peter's Uncle Ben and Aunt May's main name, Riley, while meanwhile Kane Parker is depicted as the flawed initial Spider-Man clone. Coming in this September, Marvel Comics is marking the 50th anniversary of the Muppet Show with a special one-shot issue, The Muppets Take the Marvel Universe, number one. Asking the classic question, what if? This landmark release brings the iconic Muppet gang face-to-face with legendary Marvel heroes for the very first time. Building on the popularity of last year's 70th anniversary Muppet homage variant covers, this all-new release introduces full crossover stories to mark the launch. Fans can also get looked forward to an array of fresh Muppet variant covers across multiple Marvel titles throughout September. Excuse me. An incredible lineup of creators, including Eisner Award-winning enthusiast Chip Zarski, claimed artist Pete Woods, Ashley Allen, Mackenzie Caden Ed, Kyle Starks, then David Bolding, Mike Henderson, and more bring signature Muppet Hlarity into Marvel Lore with uh Mojo versus Rolf the Dog. And then Crawl Rescue Mission created by Chip Sarsky and Pete Woods. New Films And Streaming Shakeups

go on to the geek news. Focus Fictures and Bloomhouse Atomic Monster are slit to release Anything But Ghosts, the last feature from the Curry Barker, the Obsession director, on May 7th. The release window mirrors the strategy used for Obsession, which debuted over the third weekend of May after opening to 17.1 million domestically, Obsession demonstrated exceptional box office legs, surging to an unprecedented 39% in its second frame, and another 14% in its third. It ultimately concluded its run with 263.4 million domestically and 520 million globally. Focus Features holds the global rights for anything but ghosts, while Universal Pictures International well-managed international distribution. Barker penned the screenplay alongside his longtime creator collaborator and obsession lead Cooper Tomlinson. Both Barker and Tomlinson stars amateur ghost hunters, whose investigation escalates into sheer chaos. The ensemble cast also includes Violet McGraw, Chris Reinocker, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Aaron Paul. Barker has confirmed that the narrative shares the same cinemac universe as Obsession. Warner Brothers has officially scheduled a major tent pole project ahead of its acquisition by Paramount. Game of Thrones Aegon's Conquest is slot for a theatrical release on January 1st, 2029. The feature will be directed by Owen Hearst, working on a script by astronomy screenwriter Boilman Willeman. Production start dates and casting have not yet been announced. The story focuses on the Aegon 1 Tigerion, the founder of the Targaryen dynasty and first ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, who brought Westeros under unified rule alongside his dragons Baleron, Fagar, and Maraxis. Marking the on-screen debut of Aegon the Conqueror, the film builds upon George R. R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice Universe. Recent develops further suggest that the newly formed Paramount Warner Brothers Discovery entity plans to offer its flagship streaming platforms Paramount Plus and HBO Max as a bundle rather than merging them into a single service. Earlier today, Paramount CEO and villain David Ellison released an announcement video confirming that the merged company will adopt the SkyDance name. The video concluded with a visual display showing the new company name alongside its primary brands, featuring logos for Paramount, Warner Brothers, DC, CBS, CNN, and Nickelodeon, as well as distinct listings for both HBO Max and Paramount Plus, including Paramount Plus alongside the core Paramount brand appears deliberate, as does the decision to feature HBO Max over the traditional HBO Network brand. And
